Brianne Curran Violin is an online violin teaching service operated by Brianne Curran, based in Berlin, Germany. Lessons are delivered live via high definition video in English and German. Full technical instructions and your lesson link will be sent by email prior to your first lesson. Any questions regarding setup or access can be directed to [email protected]2. BOOKING
All lesson enquiries must be submitted via the contact form at briannecurranviolin.com. A minimum of 7 days notice is required for all new bookings. Lesson times are confirmed by email only after full payment has been received. No lesson will take place without prior payment. Brianne Curran Violin reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.3. PAYMENT
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Trial lessons are permitted once per student and are charged as a one off fee before the lesson. Monthly subscription payments are charged automatically on the same date each month. You will never be asked to provide your card details directly to Brianne Curran Violin.Prices are reviewed annually. Active students will be notified of any price changes with a minimum of 30 days notice before their next renewal.4. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Please refer to the full Cancellation Policy document for complete details. All payments are non-refundable. Subscriptions do not automatically renew. In the rare event the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, students will be offered a reschedule at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible the lesson will be refunded in full. In cases of ongoing or extended teacher illness an alternative arrangement will be discussed with the student directly.5. MISSED LESSONS
Students are charged for all scheduled lessons regardless of attendance. Missed lessons are non-refundable. If you require more flexibility please choose a shorter commitment plan.6. HOLIDAY PERIODS
Brianne Curran Violin operates on a schedule of 35 teaching weeks per year. The remaining weeks of the year are designated as holiday periods. All active students are notified of upcoming holiday periods with a minimum of 4 weeks notice. New students will be informed of all remaining holiday periods for the current year upon signing up. Monthly fees remain consistent throughout the year as the monthly rate reflects the annual 35 week teaching schedule.7. LESSON DELIVERY AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lessons are delivered live via high definition video. Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, a functioning device with camera and microphone, and their instrument ready and tuned before each lesson. Brianne Curran Violin is not responsible for technical issues on the student's side including but not limited to poor internet connection, device failure or software issues. If a lesson cannot proceed due to technical issues on the student's side the lesson will not be refunded or rescheduled. If a lesson cannot proceed due to technical issues on the teacher's side the lesson will be rescheduled or refunded in full. Students are asked to join their lesson 2 minutes before the scheduled start time.8. RECORDING OF LESSONS
All lessons are recorded by default via our video platform for educational purposes. Recordings may include audio and video and are used to generate personalised weekly practice notes which will be sent to the student within 24 hours of each lesson. Students who do not wish their lesson to be recorded must notify Brianne Curran Violin in writing by email to [email protected] prior to their first lesson. Recordings are the sole property of Brianne Curran Violin. Students and their parents or guardians may not share, distribute, publish or reproduce any lesson recording in any format without prior written consent from Brianne Curran Violin.9. MINORS AND PARENTAL CONSENT
The minimum age for lessons is 3 years old. Students between the ages of 3 and 5 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of every online lesson. For all students under the age of 18 it is the parent or guardian who registers, agrees to these terms and conditions and manages all communications with Brianne Curran Violin. By completing registration and payment on behalf of a minor the parent or guardian accepts full responsibility and agrees to all terms and conditions on the student's behalf. All communications regarding lessons for minors will be conducted with the parent or guardian.10. CONDUCT
Brianne Curran Violin is committed to providing a safe, respectful and positive learning environment for all students. Brianne Curran Violin reserves the right to terminate any subscription without refund in the event of inappropriate, disrespectful or disruptive behaviour by a student or their parent or guardian.11. PRIVACY

Brianne Curran Violin is committed to protecting the privacy of all students worldwide and complies with applicable privacy laws in all jurisdictions where our students are located.12. GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Brianne Curran Violin reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Active students will be notified of any significant changes by email with a minimum of 30 days notice.By completing payment and booking you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
