About

Brianne Curran Violin is a private violin teaching service based in Berlin. Lessons are available in person in Berlin and online. Lessons are offered in English and German. Online lessons take place via an online video or communication platform agreed between you and me.

Lesson Options

• Individual lessons, booked and paid for separately.
• 10-lesson cards, paid in full and valid for 6 months.
• Regular weekly lessons, paid by monthly instalment in advance.

Payment

Individual lessons are paid for individually. 10-lesson cards are paid in full when purchased. Regular weekly lessons are paid monthly in advance, with payment due on the 1st of each month.

The annual teaching fee for regular weekly lessons is divided into 12 equal monthly payments. Fees are reviewed annually, and any changes will be communicated in advance.

Monthly Lessons & Holiday Periods

Lessons do not take place during Berlin school holidays, public holidays, or my own planned holiday breaks. These periods are taken into account when setting the annual teaching fee, so the monthly payment remains the same throughout the year.

My planned holiday breaks will be communicated to students in advance.

10-Lesson Cards

10-lesson cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Lessons are booked individually and are subject to availability.

Unused lessons expire at the end of the validity period and are not refundable unless otherwise agreed. Lessons during holiday periods may be arranged if I have availability and agree to this in advance.

Cancellation & Missed Lessons

Cancellation and attendance are governed by the Cancellation Policy.

Online Lessons & Technical Requirements

For online lessons, students are responsible for having a suitable device, camera, microphone, internet connection and quiet space. Students should have their violin tuned and ready before the lesson.

Technical problems on the student's side do not automatically entitle the student to a refund or replacement lesson. If a technical problem is on the teacher's side and the lesson cannot continue, the lesson will be rescheduled or refunded.

Recordings & Materials

Lessons are not recorded by default. Where audio, video or other materials are recorded or created for educational or practice purposes, they are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and any required consent.

Personalised lesson materials are provided for the student's personal educational use and may not be commercially distributed or publicly published without permission.

Minors

The minimum age for lessons is 3. For students under 18, a parent or guardian must register, agree to these terms, manage payments and remain responsible for communication where required. For younger students, a parent or guardian may be asked to be present or available during the lesson.

Conduct

A respectful and appropriate learning environment is expected at all times. Serious or repeated inappropriate behaviour may result in the teaching arrangement being ended. Any outstanding payments or unused lesson credits will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to students in advance where appropriate.
